Bad temper
Singaporean are
ungracious and that is a fact . Based on the statement of community leaders and
analysis , tempers of singaporean are getting shorter and nastier . But we
can't fully blame singaporean as they need to work at least 10 - 11 hours daily
(weekdays) so they will surely get mad and loses patient towards others .
2. Symtoms
of Xenophobia
According to Oxford English Dictionary , xenophobia
is define as a deep-rooted, irrational hatred towards foreigners.Singapore have
been a country that attracts foreigners to work and this caused an uproar
of singaporeans as the influx of foreigners have strike fear in
them .Thus , foreigners and immigration will have a hard time in singapore as
they are also given a cold shoulder when finding jobs in singapore . This will
surely affect the image of Singapore .
3.Materialistic culture
Have u ever heard
of the 5C concept ? Don't know ? 5c is the local materialistic dream , which 5
C’s – cash, car, condo, credit-card and country club .So , Branded brands such
as Prada, Gucci, Rolex , Louis Vuitton , Mont Blanc and other luxury
brands never go out of business in Singapore .
4. I don care / Who cares attitude
This attitude does
not actually limited only in singapore , but this attitude is obvious while
interacting with them . This selfish attitude starts with a tought "unless
it affects me, my family, my money or things that I believe in, why should I
care? " and they'll only make an action if it does . This negative
attitude usually affects the youngster but will slowly improve when they
getting older or wiser .
5. No action , Talk only (NATO )
A lot of
singaporeans like to judge and complain , such people have many things to
complain about but when they are given the chance to take part or to say
something officially, they'll just keep quiet or pretend not to have opinion
and the circle goes on and on if the situation doesnt suit them .
